The Electrical and Computer Engineering Department in RHU College of Engineering organized their “First Biomedical Clinical Engineering Sector Status in Lebanon” workshop on Monday, November 28 at 5:00 p.m. in RHU MEA Conference Hall. President of the Order of Engineers and Architects (OEA), Mr. Khaled Chehab, backed the initiative aiming to form a biomedical engineering sector under OEA’s third branch. The event succeeded in taking concrete steps towards overcoming obstacles and constraints facing the Biomedical and Clinical Engineering sector in Lebanon.
This workshop included writing recommendations for Biomedical Engineer profession organization through laws and standards. Participants were able to exchange their expertise and recommendations and propel a national initiative drawing the sufficient support needed to surmount the difficulties.
