It is certainly a proud moment for RHU! RHU civil and environmental engineering alumna Hala Nassereddine (BS, ‘14) has been named the 2019 Showcase Winner by The Construction Industry Institute USA at its annual conference in August 2019. This has been in recognition for her innovative work using augmented reality for production strategy processes.
Dr. Nasreddine graduated from RHU with a BSc in Civil Engineering in 2014. She then moved to the USA and completed her MSc 2016 and accomplished her PhD 2019 in the application of Augmented Reality to construction at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She is now assistant professor of construction engineering and project management in the University of Kentucky.
