    Amani Fawaz received the Diploma of Electrical Engineering from the École Supérieure d’Ingénieurs de Beyrouth (ESIB), Saint Joseph University of Beirut (USJ), Lebanon, in 2019, and a Master’s degree in Renewable Energies from the Lebanese University (LU) and ESIB. She earned her Ph.D. in Electrical and Energy Engineering, with a specialty in Power Networks, from ESIB in 2025.

     

    Dr. Fawaz is currently a lecturer at several universities and a researcher at ESIB. Her research focuses on decentralized energy networks and power routing protocols. Also, her research interests include smart grids, renewable energy integration, the energy internet, and the application of machine learning and metaheuristic techniques to energy systems. She has contributed to several peer-reviewed publications and has received research support from the Agence Universitaire de la Francophonie and the Conseil National de la Recherche Scientifique–Lebanon.
