    A graduate of American and French universities, Dr. Hammoud had started his professional life in the United States where he worked in the private sector, particularly information technology and financial services, for a period of 12 years. In higher education, he is associate professor of economics and business and has assumed responsibility for a number of academic and administrative management positions in three universities. In addition, he has over a dozen publications in scholar journals and has written for a number of newspapers and magazines.
