Ibrahim Jouhari is an electoral and international affairs expert with experience gathered in the past ten years working with various NGOs, think tanks, universities, and political parties. Mr. Jouhari has worked extensively as an electoral expert, campaign manager, and researcher. In collaboration with the Friedrich Naumann Foundation, Mr. Jouhari is currently managing the Data Liberation Project to convert, cross-link, and publicly publish the previous Lebanese parliamentary elections results in a machine-readable format.
Up to 2020, Mr. Jouhari was the Senior Analyst at former Prime Minister Saad Hariri's International Affairs Unit, working with the international corps diplomatic in Lebanon on various subjects and following up on several issues, such as reforms, regional affairs, and bilateral relations.
Mr. Jouhari is also an international affairs, diplomacy, and history instructor at several universities. Mr. Jouhari holds a MA in Political Studies from the American University of Beirut and a BA in Journalism from the Lebanese American University. In 2019, he completed a post-graduate program on US security and foreign policy with the State Department Study of US Institutions.
