    With over 14 years of academic and professional experience, Kassem Masri has built a distinguished career in higher education and business practice across the Middle East and Europe. He currently serves as a part-time faculty member at the Rafik Hariri University, and University of Balamand. He also worked for multiple universities in Lebanon and France (CASS). From 2016 to 2022, he was Head of the Business Department at USAL University, where he led academic strategy, program development, quality assurance, and student engagement initiatives.

     

    His teaching and research expertise covers Digital Business, Digital Marketing, Supply Chain Management, Information Systems, and Entrepreneurship. Beyond the classroom, he has designed innovative academic programs, led workshops and industry visits, and represented his university in international initiatives such as the Hult Prize competition.

     

    In addition to his academic career, Mr. Masri brings extensive professional and entrepreneurial experience. He worked with Deloitte & Touche in Qatar, UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Lebanon, specializing in IT audit and risk management for more than 20 high-profile clients. Over the past six years, he also founded and managed two entrepreneurial ventures in Lebanon: Mini Price, a discount retail business, and Joud el Sama, a trading and import–export company.

     

    He is proficient in data analytics and AI tools (Tableau, RapidMiner), enterprise systems, combining technical expertise with academic innovation. Dedicated to advancing student learning and institutional excellence, Mr. Masri continues to merge international experience with a strong commitment to educational and business development in the region.

     

    Education

    • Master’s in International Business from Grenoble Ecole de Management (France/UK campus), a program internationally ranked and accredited by AMBA, EQUIS, and AACSB.
    • Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems from the Lebanese American University, graduating with honors.
