Upon graduating from the Kharkiv National Pedagogical University in Ukraine with a TD degree in Methodology of teaching Arts and Crafts, Professor Larisa Vasilchenko continued to research and acquire more knowledge and expertise in that area by obtaining her Ph.D. from the same university in 2007.
With over 20 years of experience in the field of pedagogy of Arts and Crafts, Dr. Larisa has been teaching a variety of Graphic Design courses ranging from Drawing, Painting, Fundamentals of 2D and 3D Design, Color Theory, Contemporary Art, Theories of Imaging, and Rendering and Perspective Techniques at a number of universities including the Lebanese University of Beirut, American University of Technology, Lebanese International University and Rafik Hariri University.
Besides her academic experience, Dr. Larisa has been the owner and instructor of the Art gallery "The Artist" In Tyr, Lebanon, for over 10 years, where she exhibited all of her artwork through Personal Art exhibitions, as well as trained a group of pupils of varying ages, Arts and Crafts classes. Furthermore, she worked on creating 3D architectural models for different organizations and agencies, as well as designing interior architectural planning in cooperation with a number of interior designers.
