RHU College of Arts hosted the Constitutional Council Member, H.E. Professor Antoine Messara for a lecture on “Dialogue and Diversity, Lebanon’s Milestone Principles” on Tuesday, October 25 in RHU theater. Diversity, Pluralism, Democracy, Human rights were some of the main points discussed.
The lecture focused on getting students in contact with outstanding figures. Familiarizing the idea of the social contract and public administration. Professor Messara expressed how Lebanon is a country of dialogue and shall always be, he also emphasized on the idea that we have to celebrate our diversity, and that we have reached the maturity age in dialogue. He mentioned that “H.E Martyr President Rafik Hariri, Kamal Joumblat, Imam Moussa Al Sader, and all who dared to say NO were murdered, for the survival of Lebanon.”
