Considering the value of a college education, Rafik Hariri University offers merit-based scholarships to prospective students in recognition of their excellent academic standing. In addition to scholarships, RHU provides qualified new and continuing students financial assistance, sibling discount and a rewarding work study program to assist them financially in attaining their degrees.
Merit Scholarship: It rewards academic excellence and achievement as evidenced by the student’s school grades. It covers 20% to 50% of the tuition fees. No application is required. Students who have excellent school grades and attain a rank in the official Lebanese Baccalaureate exam, may qualify for a full Merit Scholarship (100%).
Competition Scholarship: RHU organizes several school competitions during the year. The winner of any competition qualifies for a Competition Scholarship which covers 25% to 50% of the tuition fees provided that the student meets the University admission requirements.
Athletic Scholarship: A student with proven athletic abilities may qualify for an Athletic Scholarship which covers 25% to 50% of the tuition fees provided that s/he meets the University admission requirements. To qualify for an Athletic Scholarship, the student is required to submit an application with reference from an athletic coach or academy that is/are familiar with their abilities to the Admissions Office. A record of awards that the student has won may also be required.
Financial Assistance: It is offered to students who demonstrate difficulties in meeting the cost of their tuition to RHU but have the required academic qualification. New students can complete and submit a Financial Aid Application and provide all the supporting documents as soon as they submit their online application to join RHU.
Sibling Discount: A 10% discount is given to one of two brothers and/or sisters who are enroll simultaneously at RHU. If more than two siblings are concurrently registered, then two of them benefit from the discount.
