She began her talk by paying tribute to the memory of HE Late Prime Minister Martyr Rafik Hariri; She thanked Rafik Hariri University for this opportunity to meet and discuss with the RHU community the current concerns of the Lebanese people about the future of their country and the aftermath of the Lebanese revolution.

She expressed her full support of the revolution insisting on the importance of rejecting all what divides us as Lebanese people and focusing on what matters most, uniting to build a better tomorrow for our country. She pointed out that she has always been a supporter of the rights of the people to a dignified living. She also considers that sectarian division is a means used by politicians to manipulate the Lebanese citizens so that they bring the same group of politicians back into power at every parliamentary elections.

What is most important, she considers, is to elect the right people who can enact laws that bring positive change and provide the basic and immediate needs of the Lebanese, while preventing all forms of quotas and the corruption in the political regime that has been plundering the wealth of this country for many years now.

On a final note, she indicated that the Lebanese people are now more aware of their rights and are holding the government officials accountable for their political performance. She encouraged them not to back off and not to lose hope but insist on change.
