The College of Business Administration was honored to host Dr. Nasser Hoteit for a presentation entitled “Oil and Gas Industry Outlook, with Focus on the Levant Region: Supply, Demand and Geopolitics” as part of its monthly guest speaker series for the spring semester on Thursday, March 28, 2019. The presentation provided an erudite outlook of oil and gas sector in the east Mediterranean region covering various facets from demand to supply and geopolitics.
Dr. Hoteit is the former chairman and current head of Technical and Engineering Department at the Lebanese Petroleum Administration, and has been involved in the energy sector (nuclear, oil and gas) for 34 years.
Dr. Hoteit particularized the Lebanese scenario and discoursed Lebanon’s opportunities and challenges and went on to offer advice to youth interested in pursuing a career in oil and gas.
The presentation ended with a reception during which lively interaction took place between the speaker and the students.
