RHU President, Dr. Said Ladki, had the honor of hosting Dr. Elise Salem, Vice President for Student Development and Enrollment Management at the Lebanese American University (LAU), during a visit filled with reflection, connection, and admiration. Her visit aimed to strengthen relationships and build bridges between the two institutions, while revisiting the campus that once served as the International College Mechref, where she finished high school before it later became Rafik Hariri University.
During her visit, Dr. Salem delivered a heartfelt message to the RHU President, saying: “Thank you for the lovely visit to your gorgeous university. You are a natural leader and an inspiring president for these kids. You are giving them a chance, as you were given when you were a young man. What a legacy.”
The visit included a walk along the RHU Freedom Trail, where Dr. Salem and Dr. Ladki reflected on the transformative achievements of the late Prime Minister Rafik Hariri and the lasting impact of his vision on education in Lebanon.
