A practical demonstration of the working principles of internal combustion engines and their diagnostics were presented to RHU engineering students during a visit to the Lebanese Army-Logistic Brigade workshop in Kfarshima in the spring semester. The visit was organized by the Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering Department and RHU ASME Student Chapter, under the supervision of assistant professor, Dr. Iyad Fayssal.
The technical visit is associated with the thermodynamics course where the students were exposed to various mechanical works conducted in the Lebanese Army workshop. Heat exchangers used in military vehicles and turbochargers were presented to the students.
