The RHU Design Department in the College of Arts and Sciencesaims to provide graphic design students with practical insights and hands-on experience to enhance their knowledge in their field. As part of this mission, RHU Lecturer Ms. Noura Sammoura's production class went on a field trip to the printing house - 53 Dots on February 2nd, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
During the trip, students interacted with various departments and gained an understanding of their tasks and procedures. They also learned about the prepress procedures and how files should be delivered for effective production.
After the departmental tour, students were introduced to the different machines and their uses, as well as the binding techniques employed at the production house.
The field trip helped students bridge the gap between theory and practice, improving their understanding of the production process.
