The ASCE RHU Chapter in the College of Engineering organized a meaningful community service event on November 21, 2025, bringing its members together at Markaz Al-Aytem in Freisin, Shehim, to celebrate Lebanon’s Independence Day and support children in need. As part of the Chapter’s ongoing commitment to community engagement, the team spent the day preparing gift bags and leading a variety of fun, educational, and interactive activities designed to bring joy and create memorable experiences for over 50 children.
Throughout the day, ASCE members engaged children in face painting, games, shared meals, and other lively activities that encouraged connection, laughter, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The event emphasized the power of collective compassion and the importance of creating moments of happiness for young community members.
The initiative wrapped up with the distribution of carefully prepared gift bags, a gesture that brought smiles and excitement to the children. The experience was deeply moving for all ASCE RHU participants, who were touched by the children’s joy and the positive effect of the day’s activities.
