    Classes of 2021 and 2022 arrive for RHU Orientation Week

    In an attempt to help new students begin their integration in college life, RHU organized the New Student Orientation Program. Students were welcomed to a general orientation session in the theatre on September 3, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.

     

    In her address to new students at the theatre, Ms. Nidal Khalaf, RHU Registrar, welcomed students on campus and invited them to live up to their responsibilities. She introduced the RHU “IncuVation” initiative that will help them refine their innovative ideas. She also depicted the many ways RHU had fulfilled its pledge to offer quality education that springs from the basis of a culture of caring and a deep-rooted concern for student success and achievement.

     

    RHU deans of the Colleges of Business Administration, Dr. Jamil Hammoud, Sciences and Information Systems, Dr. Mohamad Ladan, and Arts, Hiam Lotfi, welcomed the new students highlighting the importance of seeking the support and guidance of faculty advisors. Student services were thoroughly explained by Student Affairs Coordinator, Ms. Sahar Hallak. RHU Director of Communication and Alumni relations, Ms. Rafal Tabbaa, explained about the Coop and Career services provided to students and invited them to follow RHU social media platforms.

     

    In addition to the general orientation session, “Ask Me” booths were set on campus to assist students with their needs and inquiries. Moreover, administrative staff and academic departments operated their booths in the library on September 3rd and 4th, to be easily found and directly answer students’ questions.

     

    The orientation program will continue next week with the club recruitment week, athletic competitions between old and new students and the annual welcome party.
