Each year, the Student Technology Club organizes an exciting robotics competition for the middle and high school students and this year was no exception despite the current situation in Lebanon. The 7th Annual Robotics competition was held on January 18, 2020 at Rafik Hariri University with the participation of 30 teams from 15 different schools from all over Lebanon. The mission this year was to build and program a robot to storm the Area51. The robot had to overcome many obstacles on its way before it can storm the restricted Area. The competition was sponsored by Beirut Electrocity (BEC). RHU accorded 50% scholarships to the members of the winning team of the High School Track.

Results were as follows:
High School Track:
First place Team Geeks from SABIS International School (Choueifat) and Houssam Eddine Hariri High School (Saida)
Second place Team Omar & Hisham from Houssam Eddine Hariri High School (Saida)
Middle School Track:
First place Team GIS 8.1 from Global International School (Ketermaya)
Second place Team Kazem Mini from Imam Kazem High School (Baalbak)
Most Active team Award Team Baby Yoda from Hariri II High School (Beirut) with 685 votes
Judges Award Team System Override from Al Qalaa High School (Saida)
Team Spirit Award Team HoneyBees from Bee Skills Center (Jadra)
Perseverance Award Team AST2 from Al Abrar High School (Khalde)
