On March 2, 2019, the College of Business Administration offered an Entrepreneurship training workshop at Houssam Eddine Hariri High School in Sidon. The workshop was delivered by CBA assistant professors Dr. Marwan Wahbi, Dr. Najib Mozahem, and Dr. Jamil Chaya, who held interesting discussions with the students about the entrepreneurship process, techniques and requirements.

Participants learned new ways of generating ideas, securing the necessary funding, and marketing their product or service locally and internationally. They left with a stronger understanding of the concept of entrepreneurship and its impact on individual and socio-economic wellbeing. Many of them said the workshop was an eye-opener into their own abilities and aspirations, an opportunity for self-exploration that they were grateful for.

This workshop is part of the College’s Community Outreach Initiative whereby CBA professors share their knowledge and experience with the youth in the community, making a valuable contribution to society.
