First Lego League (FLL) hands-on workshop at RHU

The Student Technology Club (STC) at Rafik Hariri University (RHU) organized in collaboration with NERDLebanon a hands-on workshop on the new FLL challenge on Saturday October 28, 2017 between 9:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.

More than 40 students from different schools (Rafik Hariri High School (Saida), Makassed High School and Makassed (Aisha ) school- Saida) alongside their supervisors attended the workshop to learn about the 2017-2018 First Lego League challenge, “Hydrodynamics”.

In the workshop, students learned how to build their first robot using the EV3 Mindstorms kit and how to work as a team in order to participate in FLL. The young participants were then briefed on the real core values of FLL and the importance of the concepts of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) in our daily lives. Finally, they were also introduced in details to this year’s mission.

First Lego League (FLL) is by far the biggest robotics competition that is organized each year in Lebanon by NERDLEbanon.
