RHU Design Society in the College of Arts and Sciences in collaboration with RHU Event Club successfully organized the Ghostly Gala Costume Competition and Bake Sale on November 1, 2022. The event took place in RHU MEA Conference Hall, where students competed for the most creative spooky look.
The jury members evaluated the participants and announced the winners. Ms. Layal Shaar won the first prize of 500.000 LBP in cash. The second prize winner Ms. Asma Zaatari and third prize winner Ms. Aya Daouk won a 200.000 LBP and a 100.000 LBP vouchers from the Grapheteria, a small shop in Block I, respectively.
The Design Society advisor and event host Ms. Noura Sammoura introduced the jury members: Dr. Housam Saleme, Dr. Dina Serhal, Dr. Lubna Saleh, Ms. Serene Srouji, and Ms. Rouba Assi, who evaluated the participants according to preset judging criteria. Students and faculty enjoyed the atmosphere and ate yummy goodies from the bake sale.
