The ACM RHU Student Chapter in the Computer and Information Systems Department at the College of Arts and Sciences hosted a workshop on Git and GitHub on Thursday, March 7, 2024.
The workshop was delivered by RHU computer science students Nadine Shayya, Dana Dabdoub, Nouraldain Hamid, and Sammy Medawar. Around 30 participants learned to use Git and GitHub to remotely manage and collaborate on their software development projects.
In today's market, Git is an essential tool for teamwork in software development. All developers, DevOps engineers, and cybersecurity specialists eventually learn source control. As a university student, learning Git and GitHub early will help prepare you for the job market and foster collaboration with your project teammates.
