RHU new students arrived on campus September 3 for the fall 2019 New Student Orientation Program that extends for one week and culminates with RHU Welcome Party on September 12.
Aiming to get the new students started on their RHU journey, the orientation week began with a welcome assembly at 11:00 am in the MEA Conference Hall. It introduced students to the academic opportunities, the exciting university life and the facilities available at RHU.

RHU President, Professor Makram Suidan, addressed the students on the unique achievements of RHU students during the last year, winning more than 9 awards in national and international competitions in all major. He urged the new students to seize the numerous academic opportunities available for them in all programs of study. He also highlighted the importance of the English language courses and the newly introduced business etiquette course that will help shape students’ professional skills.

In her address to new students, RHU Registrar, Ms. Nidal Khalaf, urged students to live up to their responsibilities, read a lot and respect deadlines. RHU Student Affairs Coordinator, Ms. Sahar Hallak, motivated students to make the most of RHU university life, join the Athletic teams and participate in club activities.
In addition to the general orientation session, “Ask Me” student mentors will be available on campus during the first week to assist students with their needs and inquiries. Moreover, administrative units operated their booths in the library on September 3rd and 4th, to be easily found and directly answer students’ questions.
