    RHU 4th Annual Athletics High School Tournaments reward the Most Valuable Players

    RHU held its 4th Annual High School Tournaments in basketball and mini football, men and women categories, between the 31st of March and the 5th of April, at RHU campus. A committee evaluated the performance of the players and accorded university scholarships to four most valuable players MVPs in the competition.

     

    Ten schools from different areas in Lebanon participated in the competition in a fair play environment full of positive energy; Makkased (Saida), Iman High School (Saida), Al Qalaa High School (Saida), Rafik Hariri High School (Saida), Hariri High School II (Beirut), Khalid Bin Walid (Beirut), Omar Bin Al-Khattab (Beirut), Deutsche Internationale Schule (Beirut), Shouf National College (Baakline), and Manarat Jabal Amel High School (Nabatieh).

     

    In the men basketball tournament, the winner high schools were Khalid Bin Walid High School (Beirut) in first place and Omar Bin Al-Khattab (Beirut) in second place and the MVP was Mohamad Malla from Khalid Bin Walid High School.

     

    The winners of the women basketball tournament were Shouf National College (Baakline) in first place and Manarat Jabal Amel High school (Nabatieh) in second place. The MVP was Nay Abo Dergham from Shouf National College.

     

    In mini football men competition the Deutsche Internationale Schule (Beirut) achieved the first place and Iman High School (Saida) the second place. Hadi Slaiman from Deutsche Internationale Schule, was chosen as the Most Valuable Player.

     

    The winners of the women mini football tournament were Manarat Jabal Amel (Nabatieh) in first place and Rafik Hariri High School (Saida) in second place. The Most Valuable Player title wen to Ms. Nadine Kiblawi (Rafik Hariri High School).
