The RHU ACM Student Chapter, within the Computer, Math, and Sciences (CMS) Department of the College of Arts and Sciences at Rafik Hariri University (RHU), held an information session on October to introduce students to the chapter’s mission, activities, and opportunities to become part of a global community of computing professionals.

The session was led by members of the chapter’s executive committee: Baraa El Baba Chair; Aya Hajjaoui, Head of Social Media; and Mohammad Hassanieh, Treasurer. They introduced students to the benefits of ACM membership, outlined the workshops and activities planned for the 2026–2027 academic year, and explained the steps to join the chapter.
Through its activities and initiatives, the RHU ACM Student Chapter provides students with opportunities to strengthen their technical skills, gain hands-on experience, and collaborate with peers who share their interest in computing and emerging technologies. By connecting academic learning with practical engagement, the chapter encourages students to explore new ideas, expand their knowledge, and prepare for future opportunities in the rapidly evolving field of computing.
