The RHU Association for Computing Machinery (ACM) Student Chapter, in collaboration with the Computer, Math, and Sciences Department, organized a recreational trip on Saturday, October 10, 2026, bringing together 41 participants for a day of relaxation, outdoor activities, and social interaction.
The day began with breakfast at Keyrouz Bakery in Jisr El Basha, followed by open-play activities at Swings Camp in Zaraoun, Metn. Participants then enjoyed lunch at Cheese on Top before concluding the outing with sweets from Douaihy Sweets.
Beyond providing a welcome break from academic commitments, the trip gave students a chance to connect beyond the classroom, strengthen friendships, and build teamwork and camaraderie among chapter members.
The initiative reflects the ACM Student Chapter’s and the department’s continued commitment to enriching student life at RHU through activities that promote engagement, collaboration, and a strong sense of community.
