As more success stories are created by RHU alumni around the world and across the various disciplines, measurable and relevant evidence of the quality teaching, meaningful experiences, and excellent education at RHU is presented.
RHU is greatly proud of alumna Amira El Merhie who has successfully defended her PhD in Bioengineering and Robotics last Thursday, February 21, 2019 from the Università degli Studi di Genova and Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia, Italy. The title of her thesis is "Single Layer Graphene Biointerface: Studying Neuronal Network Development and Monitoring Cell Behavior over Time". She has also been accepted for a post-doctoral position in Instituto Italiano di Tecnologia, Italy.
Dr. Merhie had obtained her BS degree in Biomedical Engineering from RHU in 2010 and her MSc degree in Biomedical Engineering and Design from École des Mines de Saint-Étienne, France in September 2015.
