Rafik Hariri University is proud of its alumni whose accomplishments have brought distinction to RHU and Lebanon. What makes RHU thrive as a university that offers quality education is its people, not only the outstanding faculty, staff and students, but the alumni who create and continue a legacy of excellence and distinction.
For the third year, RHU will be recognizing one of its alumni who have demonstrated leadership and outstanding career achievements, as part of an annual Alumni Honors Program. The alumni honoree for this year is Dr. Mahmoud Ismail (Class 2006 BS Mechatronics Engineering). Dr. Ismail shall be bestowed his honor award on Wednesday, May 24 during the 2017 RHU Graduation Ceremony.
Nominations have been solicited from RHU Development - Communciation and Alumni Relations Office. The final decision was made by an RHU committee taking into consideration one main focus, to consider the alumni who have had impactful achievements.

Honours MSc in Computational Sciences, Elite Network of Bavaria, Erlangen, Germany
Ph.D. with Summa Cum Laude in Computation Biomechanics, TU-Munich, Munich, Germany
MBA in General Management, Collège des Ingénieurs, Paris, France
Industrial work Experience:
I have been since 2014 working in the semiconductor industry. I started as a business project office for SAP master data governance. My first topic was centralization of the entire productive raw materials at Infineon Technologies AG (for all the sites worldwide). Shortly after that, I took over the team of Disruptive Innovation at Infineon developing business models and generating invention disclosures in the fields of Internet of Things, Artificial Intelligence and Block Chain.
