RHU proudly announces the appointment of Dr. Anis El Khatib as Dean of the College of Business Administration, effective for the 2026–2027 academic year. A distinguished academic, accomplished Accounting and Finance professional, and respected higher education leader, Dr. El Khatib brings more than four decades of experience spanning academia, Accounting, Finance, Auditing, Compliance, Consulting, and Institutional Development.

Dr. El Khatib holds a Ph.D. in International Business Management, specializing in Finance, from the International School of Management (Paris), and an MBA from the American University of Beirut. Throughout his career, he has earned a reputation for academic excellence, professional integrity, and a deep commitment to student success and institutional advancement.

Dr. El Khatib's appointment marks a meaningful homecoming to RHU. He served as a full-time faculty member in the College of Business Administration from 2001 to 2010. During this formative period in the university's history, he helped establish RHU and build its academic foundation while educating and mentoring some of its earliest generations of business students. His return as Dean reflects both his longstanding connection to the university and RHU's continued commitment to academic excellence and institutional continuity.

About Dr. Anis El Khatib

Throughout his academic career, Dr. El Khatib dedicated more than 27 years to teaching and mentoring students in Financial Accounting, Cost Accounting, Corporate Finance, and Financial Management. Known for his student-centered approach, he has guided and inspired generations of students, many of whom have gone on to pursue successful careers and leadership roles at prominent international organizations.

In addition to his extensive academic experience, Dr. El Khatib held senior executive positions at Middle East Airlines (MEA) for 13 years, serving as a consultant in the offices of the Chairman, General Director, Head of Audit and Inspection, and Head of the Anti-Money Laundering Compliance Department.

An accomplished researcher and published scholar, Dr. El Khatib has contributed to the academic literature on Banking, Financial Performance, Balanced Scorecard, and Performance Measurements. His expertise spans Financial Reporting, Accounting Systems, Compliance, Strategic Planning, Capital Budgeting, International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and Performance Management Systems.
