Rafik Hariri University (RHU) assistant professor Dr. Nadine Zahreddine, in the College of Arts and Sciences Design Department, has been nominated for the 2026 Open Education Awards for Excellence, presented by Open Education Global.
Her nomination is in the Individual Awards category, under Open Design Pedagogy Pioneer, recognizing her work connecting traditional fine art studio practice with generative artificial intelligence in design education.
The nomination highlights Dr. Zahreddine’s contribution to exploring how emerging technologies can intersect with established creative practices and inform the future of design education.
