Rafik Hariri University proudly took part in the opening of the Lebanon Grand Energy Event 2025, held from September 24 to 26, 2025 at the Metropolitan Palace Hotel in Beirut.
RHU was represented by Provost Dr. Mahmoud Halablab and associate professor Dr. Bassam Moslem, who joined senior government officials, industry experts, and business leaders from Lebanon and abroad in this flagship national energy gathering.

Organized by the Lebanese Center for Energy Conservation (LCEC) with the support of the World Energy Council – Lebanon Committee, the event is themed “The Quandary of a Rising Sun: Working Today, Preparing Tomorrow.” It aims to foster dialogue on critical issues of energy transition, highlight best practices, and explore opportunities for sustainable development.

With more than 700 delegates attending, the Lebanon Grand Energy Event 2025 underscores Lebanon’s commitment to a sustainable energy future. RHU’s active participation reaffirms its dedication to engaging with national and global initiatives that shape a cleaner, smarter tomorrow
