An RHU delegation, comprising Professor Mahmoud Halablab, Vice President for Academic Affairs; Mr. Ibrahim Akkawi, Vice President for Administration and Finance; Mr. Hicham Kobrosli, Vice President for Development and Information Technology; and Mr. Micheal Haddad, UNDP Goodwill Ambassador, met with H.E. Nizar Hani Ph.D., Minister of Agriculture, to discuss an initiative aimed at empowering persons with disabilities through greater inclusion in the agricultural sector.
The initiative seeks to promote sustainable employment, productivity, and economic participation for people with disabilities.
The meeting explored opportunities for collaboration to further advance the initiative, highlighting the importance of partnerships between academic institutions and the public sector in driving inclusive efforts that contribute to sustainable community development and lasting social impact.
