Rafik Hariri University is proud that RHU Board of Trustees member, Dr. Nahla Hwalla, PhD, RD, FAND has been selected as a recipient of the 2019 Medallion Award by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Board of Directors. The award will be presented to Dr. Hwalla at a special Honors Breakfast on Sunday, October 27, at 7 a.m. at the 2019 Food and Nutrition Conference and Expo™ (FNCE®) in Philadelphia, Pa. Dr. Hwalla’s award citation, will also appear in the 2019 FNCE® mobile application.
The Medallion Awards by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics' are presented each year since 1976, to honor Academy members “who have shown dedication to the high standards of the nutrition and dietetics profession through active participation, leadership and devotion to serving others in nutrition and dietetics, as well as allied health fields.”
