On April 29, 2019, the College of Business Administration organized a Career Planning Workshop in collaboration with Badiri NGO in Sidon. The workshop was part of the college’s community outreach initiative whereby CBA professors share their knowledge and experience with the youth in the community, making a valuable contribution to society.
RHU CBA Chair of the Management and Marketing Studies Department and assistant professor Dr. Rima Bizri delivered the workshop. She held interesting discussions with the audience about the challenges of deciding on a college major, finding a job, and building a future career.
Participants learned new ways of self-exploration, job search, and CV and cover letter preparation. Many of them said the workshop was an eye-opener into their own abilities and aspirations, and an opportunity for self-exploration that they were grateful for.
