Another first place award for RHU was reaped by class 2020 Computer Science graduate, Mr. Mahmoud Dafer, in the Digital Payment Hackathon held on March 14 and May 22.
Mr. Dafer was named the first place winner against graduates from almost all the universities in Lebanon, competing in a showcase of innovative solutions for E-payment.
The Hackathon was organized by Areeba https://www.areeba.com/, a financial technology company that provides smarter and seamless payment solutions for banks, merchants, governments and individuals, under the theme “Finding solutions to enhance e-payments”.
The jury members consisted of software engineers and experts from the e-payment field, as well as a representative from Visa, Mr. Mario Makary, the company’s Country Manager for Lebanon and Iraq.
