RHU proudly celebrates another international research achievement as Prof. Mohamad Taha, Dean of the College of Engineering, received the Third Best Paper Award at the International Conference on Smart Grid (icSmartGrid 2026), held in Suceava, Romania, from July 6–9, 2026.
The award recognized the paper, "Grid-Interactive Fast EV Charging Station Based on a 12-Pulse Active Rectifier for Smart Grid Applications," co-authored with researchers from Cape Peninsula University of Technology (South Africa) and Nesma & Partners (Lebanon).
This prestigious international recognition highlights Rafik Hariri University's growing contributions to engineering research and innovation while reaffirming its commitment to advancing sustainable energy technologies and fostering global research collaboration.
