A delegation from Rafik Hariri University (RHU), comprising President Dr. Said Ladki, Vice President Mr. Ibrahim Akkawi, and Media Advisor Ms. Janine El Mallah visited the General Directorate of Civil Defense and held a meeting with its Director General, Brigadier General Imad Khreish.
The meeting focused on exploring opportunities for cooperation between the General Directorate of Civil Defense and RHU and on strengthening collaboration between the two institutions in areas of mutual interest. During the visit, the delegation also toured the Civil Defense Operations Room and learned about its role, operational procedures, and mechanisms, particularly those related to coordinating emergency response operations.
The visit represents a step toward strengthening communication and cooperation between the General Directorate of Civil Defense and Rafik Hariri University. It also reflects both institutions' shared interest in developing partnerships that promote knowledge and expertise exchange, support practical learning, and help serve the community.
