On October 23, 2025, the RHU College of Arts and Sciences, Design Department, in collaboration with the RHU Design Society, hosted a thought-provoking lecture, “The Game Industry Revolution: From Entertainment to Innovation,” delivered by Mr. George Arbid, Founder of Ardor Ideas.
The event, attended by students and faculty, highlighted the transformative growth of the gaming industry in the Middle East, emphasizing its emerging role as a hub for creativity, innovation, and technological advancement.
Mr. Arbid traced the evolution of gaming from mere entertainment into a multidimensional field that integrates design, storytelling, and technology. He underscored how the region’s youth drive the industry’s future through independent game development, digital entrepreneurship, and innovative design approaches.
