The RHU Office of the President hosted the 2025 RHU Executive Retreat on Friday, September 26, at Dar Al Salam in Saida. The gathering brought together RHU’s leadership to reflect on the university’s achievements, address emerging challenges, and lay the groundwork for the next growth cycle.
In his opening remarks, RHU President Dr. Said Ladki welcomed the participants and highlighted the retreat’s focus: the future of RHU. He urged honest and open discussions, inviting all members to share their visions, goals, and challenges.
“We are gathered as RHU leadership to focus on one item only: the future of RHU. Today, we open our hearts and speak with transparency. We are united to serve RHU and to lay the foundation for its continued growth,” Dr. Ladki said.
The retreat agenda encouraged all participants to share their perspectives, ensuring that collective insights guide the University’s strategic direction for the academic year. Department chairs attended as observers and had the opportunity to join the discussion segment.
Reflecting RHU’s commitment to social responsibility, the retreat was held at Dar Al Salam, a community-based nursing home. As Dr. Ladki mentioned, the University’s support goes beyond its campus, with resources committed to enhancing the quality of life for elderly residents.
