RHU, represented by Dr. Hiam Loutfi, Chair of the Languages and Humanities Department in the College of Arts, and Ms. Mirna Talhouk, assistant director of Quality Assurance, in collaboration with the AUB Career Center and Jinan University presented a seminar “What to do after I graduate?” to undergraduate and graduate students who are about to graduate. The seminar was held at the Issam Fares Institute at AUB on June 24, 2019.
Dr. Loutfi discussed with the participants the notion of how to prepare for future job opportunities. She also emphasized the importance of job planning, job research, and the skills needed to succeed and broaden career opportunities.
She concluded her presentation with an advice to the participants that emphasizes that the important issue is not what the graduates can do with their degree, but more how to best utilize their skills, experiences, knowledge and education to promote their career prospects.
