The RHU College of Arts and Sciences proudly announces the participation of Dr. Rawan Abdalla, lecturer in the Computer, Math, and Sciences Department, at the 8th International Conference on Advances in Biomedical Engineering (ICABME 2025), hosted by Beirut Arab University on October 9–10, 2025.
Dr. Abdalla presented a paper titled “Mathematical Modeling of Optimal Chemotherapy Dosing in Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia,” co-authored with Prof. Andrei Halanay (University POLITEHNICA of Bucharest) and Dr. Lara Abou Orm (RHU).
The study introduces and analyzes a mathematical model aimed at optimizing chemotherapy dosing strategies for patients with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL), contributing valuable insights to the field of biomedical research.
This achievement underscores RHU’s commitment to research-driven education, innovation, and interdisciplinary collaboration across mathematics, computing, and biomedical engineering.
