Both RHU graphic design alumna Razan Mikdash and student Ms. Fadia Hamoui received a WorldStar Student Certificate of Recognition from World Packaging Organization WPO. This was part of the 2019 International Packaging Design Competition in which both participated.
Ms. Mikdash has previously reaped the Banque Du Liban Prestigious Award during the 2019 Arab Starpack Competition in June.
It is worth pointing out to the grueling nature of this competition that attracts entries from all over the world. The WorldStar Packaging Awards Competition is one of the major events of the World Packaging Organization. Quoted from their website, “WorldStar illustrates the continual advancement of the state of packaging design and technology and creates a living standard of international packaging excellence from which others may learn.”
