It is not the first time RHU graphic design students provide proof of their academic distinction and emerge as leaders capable of driving development and community enrichment. Again this year at the 2019 Arab StarPack, RHU graphic design students reaped the top and most prestigious positions in both the structural and visual categories in Lebanon out of 251 entries; in addition to Banque Du Liban Prestigious Awards.
Ms. Aya Karout and Ms. Fadia EL Hamoui reaped the first prizes of the Visual and Structural Categories respectively and Mr. Omar Mougharbel won the third Prize of the Structural Category. Moreover, Ms. Razan Mikdash received the Banque Du Liban Prestigious Award.
Competing against more than 900 students from 11 countries including Lebanon, they marked their graceful creativity and talent and made their impact in the Lebanese industry.
All winners were announced by UNIDO & LibanPack on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 during a huge ceremony held under the patronage of Lebanese Ministry of Industry at the Adnan Kassar building at 6:30 pm.
Competitors joined from Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, Yemen, UAE, Tunisia,, Palestine, Sultanate of Oman, Morocco, Iraq.
Dr. Mohamad Ladan, Dean of the College of Sciences and Information Systems, and Ms. Serene Srouji, the Chairperson of RHU Design Department were present to support RHU students.
Dean Ladan commented, after congratulating the winners ”this is one more attestation that RHU is an award winning university and we are the first of the firsts, as president Suidan stated in the graduation ceremony this year.”
