Rafik Hariri University proudly hosted the 2026 Ceremony of the Lebanese Graduates in Italy, celebrating 13 Lebanese graduates who earned their Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD degrees from universities in Italy. Organized by ADLI - Associazione dei Libanesi in Italia under the patronage of the Lebanese Ministry of Culture, with the support of the Embassy of Italy in Lebanon, the ceremony celebrated academic achievement and the enduring Lebanese-Italian bond.



The ceremony brought together representatives from the Lebanese Ministry of Culture, the Embassy of Italy in Lebanon, ADLI, and the RHU community to honor the graduates and celebrate their academic accomplishments.
The event was attended by Dr. Ali Al-Samad, Director-General of Cultural Affairs at the Lebanese Ministry of Culture; Dott.ssa Silvia Tosi, First Counsellor and Deputy Head of Mission at the Embassy of Italy in Lebanon; Dr. Fadel Ramadan, President of ADLI and Researcher at the Istituto Nazionale di Geofisica e Vulcanologia; Dr. Hayssam El Ghoche, Head of the Civil Engineering Department at the Faculty of Technology; Dr. Said Ladki, President of RHU; Mr. Ibrahim Akkawi, Vice President for Finance and Administration; Dr. Houssam Salami, Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences; Ms. Serene Srouji, Chair of the Design Department; and Ms. Noura Sammoura, Assistant Professor in the Design Department.





The ceremony highlighted the importance of education in building bridges across borders and strengthening the longstanding ties between Lebanon and Italy. It also reflected the achievements of Lebanese students pursuing higher education internationally and their contributions to their respective fields.
RHU extends its congratulations to the 13 graduates and wishes them continued success as they embark on the next chapter of their professional and academic journeys. May their achievements continue to make Lebanon proud wherever their paths take them.
