The RHU Co-op and Career Services Office successfully hosted a seminar and hands-on workshop titled “Building the Future: How Automation Is Shaping Careers in Engineering and Beyond”, in collaboration with Matrix Energy & Automation.
Eng. Mahmoud Ismael, Eng. Yara Ismael, and the Matrix team led the session, offering students valuable insights into current automation trends and emerging career pathways.
The workshop featured live demonstrations using Siemens PLC systems, SCADA/HMI, servo motion control, and real industrial hardware. Through hands-on activities, students worked with practical examples, explored PLC logic and HMI monitoring, and gained firsthand exposure to modern engineering applications.
