RHU President, Dr. Said Ladki, welcomed Professor Zafar U. Ahmed, President and CEO of the Academy for Global Business Advancement (AGBA), on November 20. During his visit, Professor Zafar delivered an insightful session titled “Globalizing Students’ Mindsets for Success in the Global Job Market.” The event brought together students, faculty, and staff to explore the essential skills and perspectives needed to succeed in an increasingly interconnected world.
During his talk, Prof. Zafar highlighted the importance of developing a world-class, anti-ethnocentric mindset as a foundation for success in today’s competitive global environment. He described the key traits of top professionals, including expertise, talent, skills, mindset, experience, and knowledge, encouraging students to take a holistic approach to personal and professional development.
He also addressed urgent issues in modern education, such as fraud, deception, and the misuse of artificial intelligence, highlighting the vital importance of academic integrity and genuine learning experiences.
Prof. Zafar wrapped up with a powerful message: true success is built on passion, focus, commitment, and sacrifice. He urged students to look beyond the degree itself and aim for meaningful growth that prepares them for global readiness and lifelong achievement.
