On Saturday, December 6, 2025, the Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering Department (MME) at RHU’s College of Engineering proudly hosted its free High School Workshop: Introduction to Robotics on campus. The workshop welcomed 45 Grade 12 students from schools across Lebanon for a day of discovery, learning, and hands-on innovation.

Led by Mr. Mohammad Alkaderi, a Lecturer and Lab Engineer in MME, the day started with an engaging overview of RHU’s Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering programs, followed by a hands-on robotics activity where students explored practical engineering applications.
The workshop wrapped up with an exciting robotics challenge, where the top students received 50% and 30% scholarships to RHU’s MME programs, motivating them to pursue their engineering careers.

Special thanks to the Robotics & Technology Club (RTC) members for their dedication and support: Hassan Harb, Rouba Al Baba, Serine Zahran, Mahmoud Mostafa, Mohieddine Al Hout, Abedlrahman Misto, Natali Jradi, Shatha Rajab, and Ahmad Ghandour, as well as Khaled El Kadri and Ahmad Hamoud for their valuable help in preparing and running the workshop.
We look forward to welcoming the next generation of innovators and engineers to RHU, inspiring curiosity, creativity, and a passion for technology.
