The IEEE RHU Student Branch in the College of Engineering, in collaboration with the EMBS RHU Student Branch and the WIE RHU Society, celebrated IEEE Day 2025 on October 7 with an exciting blend of innovation, teamwork, and fun. Students participated in a hands-on workshop on Penetration Testing led by Mr. Hasan Nahleh, Founder and CEO of YouBee.ai, played interactive games sponsored by Dice, and enjoyed delicious Papa Joe’s pizza. All of this was part of a lively celebration that brought RHU’s engineering community together to connect, learn, and honor technology and collaboration.

The event created a lively atmosphere across campus, where participants engaged in problem-solving activities, competed in friendly challenges, and exchanged ideas on creativity and innovation. The hands-on workshop gave students the opportunity to develop technical skills in a collaborative environment, while the games and team activities fostered a spirited sense of camaraderie and fun.

Reflecting on the event, the IEEE RHU Student Branch Counselor stated, “IEEE Day is all about celebrating the power of technology and teamwork. We’re thrilled to bring our RHU community together for a day filled with learning, fun, and collaboration.”

An IEEE RHU Committee Member added, “This event was a great opportunity for students to connect, learn, and enjoy being part of the IEEE family. With games, workshops, and pizza, it was the perfect mix of fun, creativity, and good vibes.”

The IEEE Day celebration highlighted RHU’s dedication to fostering innovation, leadership, and community among its students, empowering the next generation of engineers to create, collaborate, and inspire positive change.
