As part of its ongoing engagement with national leaders, the President and Vice Presidents of Rafik Hariri University (RHU) made an introductory visit yesterday to the Minister of Energy and Water, Mr. Joe Saddi, at the Ministry’s headquarters. The visit aligns with RHU’s ongoing efforts to foster dialogue with key national stakeholders and to strengthen its role as a center for education, leadership development, and societal impact.
During the meeting, the RHU delegation outlined the University’s mission, academic vision, and programs of study, emphasizing RHU’s dedication to academic excellence, innovation, and the development of future leaders. The delegation also extended an official invitation to Minister Saddi to visit the RHU campus and engage with its academic community.
The RHU leadership commended Minister Saddi for his efforts at the Ministry, highlighting the importance of collaboration between higher education institutions and public leadership in addressing national challenges.
For his part, Minister Saddi expressed strong interest in the role of education in shaping Lebanon’s future, underscoring the importance of equipping youth with the knowledge, skills, and values necessary for leadership and public service. He also expressed appreciation for initiatives that strengthen the link between education and national development.
