The online Machine Learning workshop by the IEEE RHU Student Branch and the AI Club covered WEKA machine learning algorithms on Saturday, March 4, 2023. Dr. Layal Abu Daher delivered the workshop at 10:00 a.m. via MS Teams. Forty-five students attended and appreciated the knowledge provided by Dr. Abu Daher.
Dr. Abu Daher covered an introduction to WEKA. She explained how to use WEKA without mathematical equations or programming codes but with an easy-to-use graphical interface and state-of-the-art algorithms. She gave examples of diabetes and used the WEKA tools to visualize and classify the data.
The IEEE is preparing a series of workshops to train its members and the community to acquire job market skills locally, regionally, and internationally.
