A group of 12 RHU ASME students, accompanied by assistant professors, Dr. Nadim Diab, and Dr. Iyad Faisal, conducted a technical visit to the Modern Mills of Lebanon (MML) in Corniche El Nahr on Friday, June 21, 2019. The purpose of the visit is aligned with the Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering Department’s strategy and RHU’s, that is to strengthen the ties with the industry and pave the way for students to pursue their training in specialized companies thus boosting their chances of getting hired.
The students were introduced to the entire process by which wheat is received and ground into flour. All complex and up-to-date machines along with their automation were fully explained to them.
